morning all, total day full of meh.

Decorating again today, yesterday I was as well.

Had too many ales Friday night and I sweated my way through yesterday, and it was purgatory!!!

Went to bed at 7:30 last night and slept through.

Hopefully finishing about 5:00 then home, and a mellow one. Am el-skinto as well this week after my watch purchase.

Still no bites on the Cotic as well, not dropping the price anymore, thought it would have gone by now but hey-ho.......looks like it may stay, although I may go for some Revs or pikes on there and swap the gravity cranks out for some XT to lighten it up a bit, maybe swap the wheels out for something lighter/more trail friendly.

Comments

  • I'd offer to swap them for my Pikes, but they're coil Pikes so they'd not lighten it up very much. You'd be best with Revs.

Quite hungover today. Intend on spending much of the day in bed, which in turn will most likely result in me ordering things I don't need.

Now I think I need to go fry some pig and drink some orange Monster

Today I am in Brizzle, sat in my mate's kitchen having breakfast before we head to the Forest of Dean to do some riding.

TBC what wheels are on the bike? If they're up for sale I many be interested as I am on the hunt for some wheels for my 456, but do need a 20mm/Maxle front hub is preferable.

I am sat at home, with the intention of going over to cannock in about an hour, but at the moment the mother's aol email account appears to have been hacked or something, and it being an aol account there's absolutely no customer support whatsoever...

    Good Morning Freaks!

Not sure what I'm up to today, but so far, I've had bacon & egg on toast for breakfast and another slice of Pake™.

I'll be going over to my daughter's for Sunday lunch, so I'll probably end on the PS playing games or making awesome Lego stuff with my grandson.

Got some experimenting type fettling to do, which if I've got time, I'll do later.

Staying in. On holiday with no bike.

Thanks to our screaming kids in the car trying to kill each other yesterday I went straight past a police speed camera parked in Old Romney at about 35mph, so I'm fully expecting a fine and 3 points letter next week. I wouldn't have minded so much if there'd actually been 30mph signs on the backroad we drove in on. As far as i knew it was 40mph.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

I'm trying to head out on the bike, but every time I open the kitchen door, the heavens explode into rain.
Those damned weather gods are watching me a bit too closely it seems.

Try the front door McGee, they may not be watching that

Today, the women are dragging me shopping, bliss.

Oh, and I'm 41 today, and they're still dragging me shopping.

Whatever happened to being 'birthday king' for the day ?

You've not got a good back door taking in you!
  • I had a thoroughly good ride over the hills this morning and sweated out the hangover. I'd slept in the spare room because the memsahib was going out clubbing last night and I didn't want her waking me at stupid-o-clock. So I was out this morning before she surfaced.

When I got back from my ride I discovered that she'd brought two mates back with her and they all crashed in my bed while I wasn't there. (In case you're wondering, the memsahib is 20 years younger than me. I'm excused clubbing for age-related reasons).

Spent the afternoon cooking and eating roast beef and yorkshires and I'll finish off the bottle of Cab Sav in front of MotoGP.

Yes, oddly. And I have no idea why.
