Hi,
I'm going to do the SDW both ways over 3 to 4 days in mid september, and wondering what I need to pack. I'm going to be staying at B&B's, so don't need to carry a tent, thankfully.
What do people recommend taking along?
List at the moment is:
Tools/Spares:
1) Spare Tube & Puncture Repair Kit
2) Spare Chain & 2x Chain Connector
3) Topeak Multitool
4) Leatherman
Lock
Lights & Spare Batteries
Maps ( Edge 705) & Charger
Camelbak
Mobile Phone & Charger
Clothes:
2xPadded Liners
Shorts
2x t-Shirts
Overtrousers
Waterproof Jacket
Overshoes
4 x pairs socks
Shoes.
Am i overloaded or missing something?
I'm thinking i might want to get a pannier rack & rack bag, top tube bag/wedge bag as well as my camelbak...
Ta!

Yeah, forgot to add fuel bars/isogels in the handlebar top mount bag. String sounds like a good idea - along with duct tape...Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

darning needle and tough twine/thread if you're not taking a spare tyre (even if you are). If you rip a side wall (lots of flint up there) you're stuffed.0
