What colour of flatties keeps it's looks best?

Fancied some black or white MG-1s to got with my black and white Scott Scale.

Now, if the pedals are magnesium, do they stay silver underneath or does Magnesium turn black when it corrodes??

Anyway, silver, black or white for looking best after a year? :)

    When the anodisings scratched off it goes a silvery colour and stays like that, but usually you only get minor scrapes on the pedals that are barely visible unless youre looking for them, and since theyre under your foot most of the time...

    I have black ones and the amount of mud and crap ive been through shows how well they retain their colour, they look more or less brand new after some muc off and a hose!
