A little advice required please

I got what I thought was a good deal today on some new shoes and pedals, Shimano MO76 and shoe 520 pedals for £70, upon opening the shoe box I noticed there was no waterproof pads to cover the SPD holes, can anyone suggest what else I could use?

    Could always stick a few self adhesive tyre patches together lol

    Duct tape.

    Duck tape, grip fill, silicone sealant and fixer foam. We can pretty much build anything using these 4 items, or perhaps I should say we couldn't build anything without them.
