WooHoo it's a bank holiday weekend. Plus for added bonus, I'm off all next week.

So, whatcha all up to then?

My plans are:

Tonight: Walk the hound, buy pies, talk to Mom for an hour on the phone.
Tomorrow: See if I can repair the wallpaper and wall damage the hound's done in the hall. :(
Sunday: BBQ the hound...
Monday: If the weather's half decent, might hit Afan with Mrs C for leisurely riding and Cheese on Brick.

:D

what is this cheese on brick of which you speak. if it is what it sounds like (a lot of cheese on alot of bread) then big d wants.

this weekend looks to be excellent. unfortunately i wont be squeezing a bike ride in, the weather is websters but, i am off to wife RE's mates vow renewal where i shall drink and chat up her lesbian friends then sunday we are driving up to the wirral to see her old dear and monday go on the obvious in liverpool where i plan to visit cool bars and drink delicious cocktails and whiskys.

i too have the remainder of next week off so i will be bike riding a bit and bulding some muscles a bit. i might even aim to deliberately ride in the wet and misery of what is left of summer.

Don't bother with Mabie, if you've never been. Go north a bit and do Ae instead.

Kirroughtree is easier than Dalbeattie. I'd do that Tuesday, then Kirroughtree before going home on Wednesday.

Have you been before dude? They're properly good :D Loved Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree so, so much.

I've done all three. Mabie's got some new stuff and is closest to the campsite we're staying at, so it makes sense. I'm not doing Ae again, it was a bag of wank.

I want to do the Black at Kirroughtree, so it needs a full day.

In that case, I've done the Madie new stuff... Hmmm... Try it, but I don't think you'll be overly impressed!

Did part of the black at Kirroughtree. Was fun. Bit knackered at that point though.

tonight ill be going for a ride and then goin out into town, before crawling into work tomorrow, riding my favourite local-ish trails on sunday morning, bbq and fishing sunday afternoon and grand prix at lunch time, then monday will be a case of cleaning the bike and doing bugger all :D
  • Tomorrow - Might go for a pootle round Bury, see what I can find.
Sunday - Little bit of work in the morning and evening, afternoon will be spent doing my usual practises.
Monday - Thinking, only thinking, of going to North Wales with the bike, but not sure where/if I can be bothered.
Tuesday - Either Gisburn/Lee Quarry or Stainburn.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Is that a posh way of saying "having a wank"?

Anyway, my weekend looks pretty dull, got to go and see some relatives in hospital on saturday, i hate hospitals. Sunday will hopefully get a local ride in - nothing special, and monday looks like a BBQ round a friends.
