Morning all... another shite day!!!!

It just the smell in London that's doing my head in. Becuase of the heat and sunshine we have had, when it rains the sewer systems kick up in the City (Most is still original Victorian) I was gagging when I went out to lunch yesterday... nice!!

Today, meh again, but it is Friday. Going to buy myself something nice (not sure what yet)

Put the Cotic full bike up for sale last night, as it's just not getting ridden, so shall be monitoring the forum(s) with interest to see if I get any bites. If it doesnt sell, I shall sell the Lyriks for £300 posted and get something less burly/heavy and see if I can turn it into something more trail friendly.

May get myself a set of uber-bling wheels for the Marin with the proceeds (and have some monies left over) OR a Ti frame (to replace the Maring frame)

That would leave me with one super-badass XC hardtail and the 'Dale training bike :)

HHhhmmmmmmm

    Good Morning Freaks!

    And, TGIF! :D

Got the whole of next week off and the weather forecast's looking pretty good.

I feel the need for something with a bacon theme coming along shortly for breakfast. Might have to call a 'meeting' with my team, which due to the last minute nature would have to take place off-site and probably in Pillars - an extremely fine establishment for providing all things breakfast related...

Apart from that, I'll be counting down till 15:30, when I'll be taking the long way home on the bike... :D

Currently lying in wait for the new postie.
The old one and i had an understanding: i'd be asleep when he turned up, he'd boot the poop out of my front door and give me time to find clothes and keys. this'n just tapped and ran without leaving a "while you were out" note. hopefully i shall then mooch up to the sorting office to pick up the new seatpost, back home to fit, then a stroll round the corner to the Bathams brewery for one of their legendary faggits, chips, mushy pays and pint o' bitter lunches. then bed (seemed easier to stay up rather than risk a 3hr nap and inevitably miss the post).
    hooray for the weekend! :D
  • dull and drizzle in Sussex, but day off so depending on what my youngest wants to do it's either shopping (Brighton or Pompey) or persuade her to go out for a ride with me. Just got my stealth jacket yesterday so want it to turn cold and wet (!) and still waiting for my C2W voucher so I can pick up the Six. Ho Hum - it'll probably rain for the next three months now!

i'd probably sell the forks now and buy revs. but depends where you ride. if you feel that you hardly ever ride it becasue there isn't trails for it near you then i din't see why not sell it tbh

Took the day off work today as it was my mates birthday yesterday so went out, Hungover badly now lol
Was beach theme last night in the club and they had jacuzzis in there, Got some good sights  haha
  • Morning all! Another good ride in today. Considering I haven't ridden for a couple of weeks, I feel really strong and fit on the commute. It's a good way to start the day.

I have to sort through a hundred or so application forms today. Never done it before, so this will be interesting.

I think when I get home, I shall attach the bike rack to the car as I fancy a pootle this weekend. Sadly Bury is crap for off-roading, but I might search a few new areas...
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Meh, mine was pretty crap by comparison. Strong headwind, no power on the climbs - even dropping down the gears and spinning wasn't working today. Hopefully my bacon and caffine fuelled ride home will be better...
