Rim size/tyre size

My hybrid was on awful stock unbranded 700 x 37s and I have just ordered some Schwalbe Mountain Plus which are 700 x 35.
In retrospect, I was wondering whether I could have gone narrower ie a 32 or even a 28. Or would the rims on my bike have been too broad for narrower tyre?

What's your bike? Or, what are the wheels?0

The rims are - Rigida Cyber 10 700C, 32H, cnc.
Now I've checked that, I'm guessing the 32 is a clue?0 -
That'll be the spokes.0

Ah - I see.
Any idea what the narrowest tyre is that it will take?0 -
Someone will be along to tell you soon, I imagine.
I'm pretty sure 28s would be OK, but you wouldn't want to take my word for it.0 -

Internal rim width should be 19mm, so I wouldn't go lower than 28.0

If it's 19mm - 28 no problem.Bikes, saddles and stuff
