Stuck with Rear Disc adapter :-(

Evening all,

I ordered some superstar components new discs and adapters. I have fitted the rear 180mm disc and corresponding adapter. I cannot work out what is wrong now - because the disc is too high up - and the brake caliper is not close enough to fit onto the adapter.

I'll be embarrassed if its not - I have never changed rotors and stuff like this before...
