I've no idea why I'm so early, apart from I can't sleep :lol:

this morning I shall be partially filling out my race form for octobter fest, I have a steady stream of work to get through, might go out for lunch down pub, then have club social

    Just got up, knackered (even though I went to bed at 11:30) and feel depressed.

    Rain is coming down hard, everwhere smells like wet dog, not nice at all..... :lol:

    Oh well, 2 more days until the weekend. Although thats a moot point as I am over my mates house working (I do some decorating work some weekends for extra monies) but not hard work and its better than sitting on my proverbial fat one all weekend/heading off to the pub.

    Is it 5:00pm yet.. :roll: :cry:

    Oh, and I just ordered one of these, been after one for ages and my existing Seiko has just given up the ghost after many years of loyal service :)

    That looks a nice watch, I've yet to find a watch that feels comfortable though so have to rely on my phone time.

    It's nice here, and has been for the last few days and according to the weather, it should stay that way for the next week or so apart from a few showers.

    STILL waiting for my stuff to turn up. But at least I'm off work for a week now yay!

    Today, not only is the day going to be filled with meh, but I'm also feeling rather crap. Not really sure why, however I think my pie and/or bacon levels aren't correct, so will have to rectify that shortly.

    Came into work in the Cakemobile. I really hate driving...

    just got up looking at ordering mmmbop frame guess i should go to work in a bit need to dig rain coat out as its hammering it down then got to get ready for weekend away

    I cycled in to work this morning! I've missed my 2-wheeled commute, it's much quicker, and makes me feel much better too.
    Fixed the puncture on my commuter last night, to find another hole. Feckin Halfords innertubes grrr never had a problem before.

    Last night I organised my second date, this may explain why I feel so happy today :)

    Morning all,

    Got rather moist on the way home last night, and not in a good way either.

    Most of my kit was still damp this morning, so it was car in anyway. Hopefully getting some vouchers for my birthday so will probably invest in some over shoes, at the moment I might as well ride barefoot, my feet feel that wet.

    Half day today, need to take the wife to the dentist. She won’t go unless I physically take her there (gooooooodd mornin!). Need to stop off at Lidl on the way home and see if they have any cheap cycling goodness. Other than that my day will be full of happy, non meh filled, contentness. Weather is looking good for the weekend, going to Go Ape Saturday, blast on bike/meet a few old friends on Sunday, relish in my birthday greatness on Monday. Wickedz.

    Mule, what did you arrange in the end? Mud wrestling?

    Is it 12:15 yet?

    We organised to meet up for dinner (as in midday dinner) and then go for a walk around somewhere. However, I'm mightly pi$$ed off, I've had to cancel the date :evil: Work has decided to do a Job Evaluation on the same day! I asked if we could change it to the Thursday, but apparently if it's changed it will be a month later! I'm due quite a large wage increase with this JE, so I can't afford (literally) to say no.

    I just hope I can rearrange my date :(

    Just explain to her that you should be getting more money once you’ve had the evaluation. She’ll quickly make the connection between pay rise and you being able to buy her more pretty things when she wants, she won’t mind………..

    I've got a similar one with a green face and satin finish bracelet. I love the gentle sound of the kinetic winder when you hold it close to your ear. I've had mine for 10 years and it never loses time. Sometimes it's worth paying extra for quality :D
