Overshoe recommendations

Hi

I was hoping some kind people would give me some recommendations on decent overshoes for my winter commute.

I ride all year round (20 miles each day) and last year used some Altura Stretch Shield (http://www.evanscycles.com/products/altura/stretch-shield-overshoes-ec010023?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=froogle)

They didn't last very well (velcro straps stitching came apart) but they kept my feet dry and kept the wind out.

Basically I'm after something that fits over road shoes, (Mavic Peloton) keeps the wind and rain out that last well and are comfortable. Anyone, or am I expecting too much?

Thanks in advance

endura mt500 overshoes are ok, they are made for mtb so the sole is more robust, i used them on the grimmer days last winter, no signs of wear or splitting (unlike some others!)

not very aero, but that means easier to get on/off, for commute i think they are a good choice

I had some endura's lasted me 4 months through the winter. I've heard good things about the BBB ones, but I gave up and got some proper winter boots in the new year. not so waterproof (water gets in the foot holes) but easier and better looking.

Endura Winter road overshoes. They perform well but durability is a bit hit and miss. I've had the zips fail a couple of times. Replaced by the shop, no probs.

Although, I bought some last year which lasted all Winter and are still going strong. :o

    Thanks guys

A coin toss decided on the Pro Tarmac ones as I couldn't decide between them and the Endura.

See how I get on, who knows I might go down the winter boot route.

    Cheers again.
