Is my helmet safe

I have a typical piss pot helmet which ive had for ages but recentley the plastic casing outside of the polystyrene inside has become loose and moves about a bit is this safe???

    I wouldn't chance it, when you can pick up a decent helmet from ASDA for a tenner.

    If it hasn't been crashed then it should be fine.

    My Giro Flak did this (it also happened to a few others) so I just put a few zip ties through the vents and it was fine, need a new one now though since its had a few bangs

    Ive crashed it a few times but it seems unscathed ???

    Ah but they can crack under the skin, You should replace a helmet after any heavy crash wher eyou have given it a good wack.

    Get it replaced in that case, it's not worth risking it for thesake of 20 quid
