hello there forumites. i have spent the day putting my youngest brotehrs biek together after it arrived. a giant talon 3. i'm suprised at how good it is for £320 . theres a slight problem though, they put in two right side pedals so i had to you some really shite pedals that i h ad lying around. one of them is very loose so i'm gonna put on the original pedal on teh right side and change the spindle to the other pedal from the old crappy ones.

i also went to buy a hope hoops mavic en521 front wheel. pics should be up soon after i fitted the tyre. i was going to get a dt swiss ex500 hope hoop but they didin't have any and the shop owner said these are better and stronger as he just came back from the alps and they are perfect where as he got 3 dings on his dt swiss ex500 rim a while back from the first ride.

so what have you been up to? what you doing now? i shall be back soon, just need to fir the tyre and try to get it off the old rim

Learning avionics (yawn), playing footie and watching my fellow peers electrocuting each other with an old 250v insulation tester.

I am now gonna hack and slash on Viking then watch some more of the final season of lost (up to e14 atm, 4 more to go )

most definately work was so dead today me and colleague sat on the sofa downloading iphone apps, then spammed a friends messages with dozens of pages of emoticons

Cancelled the camping trip thanks to rain. Now planning to stay in a friends hoodge house Friday-Tuesday whilst they're on holiday.
Did manage to get the whole of the Spong brood out on
their bikes this morning though, which is why at 7.30 they're all in bed angle and Mrs Spong are now drinking wine and contemplating laters.

And to top it all off, my shiny things didn't arrive while I was out so I'll have to wait until at LEAST tomorrow now

Tonight I'm prepping the bike to fit the new things tomorrow, then watching Mad Max 2 when it starts at 10pm (Sky Mdn Greats) .

Then I've got not more work on until next Weds, so I'm going to enjoy the Long weekend and then see if anyone needs some small projects doing for a bit of extra spenders.

i've had reset my sky+ box twice since 6pm as it just stopped working and wouldn't play at all. that means that i've lost all my recorded programmes :evil:

now i'm just surfing the net as the other half watches gok wan and his shite programme, but at least there was just a woman in her undies on there

Just got to Lisbon after an epic 10 days at boom festival, in which I ammased very little sleep, got 4 days to chill here now before coming back. I'm just glad to see a proper bed though now.

Its been good though, I highly recommend it to anyone as a fantastic experience. Made better by the really nice danishgirl who joined our camp, and her very inbred brother

I am now sitting on my arse and I will be till Tuesday. Not done much work today, 7 mile run after work in the rain. Which was nice. No really!
Now my legs are in clip because of yesterdays run and spinning session.......................

Today I had a lie in, since I was expecting the world to have been destroyed in the storm forecast for last night.
turns out it's quite a nice day.
So I headed into town, bought some new running shoes, bought some DVDs, and various bike spares, including some awesome new GREEN grips

Then I sat around and monged for a while. Texted some girls, who were working. So I played with Endomondo.
Decided to go for a training ride, with endomondo running on the phone, and apparently managed to average 13.2mph, with a max speed of 38mph, over an hour and a quarter.

All in all, a good day.
