There's a surrey league race there this saturday(28.08.2010). Anyone know what the road surface is like? (rough, gravelly, tarmaced smooth etc)

    The course was really good but I got totally schooled in the E123. Kinda good in a way as it showed me what I need to do to be competitive as a 2nd next season. Managed 2-3 laps in the bunch then emptied the tank trying to stay in the front group as the field split and didn't have anything left to get back onto the main field as it came past. Ended up doing 9 laps or so as a 2-up TT.

    Got pulled a lap early and watched the finish. Break of ~10 had a huge huge lead over the field, then the 'field' came in as a couple of 4-5 man groups.

    More training needed!!
