    To get back to the point.

    Sampras,

    If you find your reach is still too long, you could try some compact bars as well as your shorter stem. Those bars you have look like they have a long reach and a long drop.

    I have a set of these on my winter bike which is slightly too long for me, and it made a big difference.

    I really like my compact bars. Long legs, short body and awful flexibility so suit me. Might be worth a try.

    I had actually considered changing the bars but just never got round to investigating properly, Thanks though..I'll take another look.
