This is a road only pump despite being in the wiggle MTB sale!?! but its now at a silly price. i payed £17.99 and thought it a bargain. very easy to use and looks great. Just thought i'd flag it up but im not looking for an argument with road drive pump users :)

They are desperate to get rid of them, not sure that RRP has ever been achieved.

Claims it only works with genuine Innovations threaded cartridges. I cannot see how these can differ from normal run of the mill threaded cartridges.

I bought the non-carbon one of these for a tenner. It looked to be a bargain but it only managed about a dozen outings in my back pocket and one use in anger before it self-destructed.

on the OP recomendtion - just ordered one - got to be worth a try for that small amount - I like the idea of not being completed buggered when your gas runs out!
  • I have both the short and long version of these and both worth brilliantly.

I picked them up in the last wiggle sale for around £10 each!

I use the frame clip, when the small one is mounted next to a bottle you dont really notice it and as said, gives that little extra backup incase you run out of gas!
