Hi,
Right basically I'm 15 And I've just started racing and it turns out
I'm not bad at it so in esscence I want to become more serious and start training properly but I'm not sure what to do.
I was thinking 5 days a week, two interval, two hill training and one long ride the intensity and length of time increasing as the race got nearer then easing off the week beofore the event. Would this be the right combination considering I lack power (I am sub 50KG) and genrally need to increase cardiacrespiratory fitness.
However what I should be doing for Hill/ climbing training? just riding the biggest "Hill" (keeping in mind im in essex) 10 times or something different perhaps?
Also for Interval training would that flat out for a minute spin for thrity secs and repeat four more times?
