I'm after a bit of advice having picked up my new Cube Ltd Race at the weekend. I don't mind admitting that I'm a little out of touch about what's good and what isn't in terms of accessories, so I'd appreciate any recommendations for the following:

1) Track pump - preferably under £30

2) Shock pump (as above)

3) Rear light - currently considering a Cateye TL-LD 610 for £16.50

4) SPDs - lining up the Shimano M520s for £20

5) Stand - the type that hold the rear wheel

6) Water bottle cage - or is Camelbak the way to go these days?

7) Helmet - got the Giro Xen in my sights...

Thanks in advance...

    [takes deep breath]

    1) Track pump - preferably under £30
Try something from the Topeak joe blow range. usually good pumps.

    2) Shock pump (as above)
i've only tried a rock shox one. was very nice, had a valve to stop air leaking as you attached or removed the hose and a button to let air out and fine tune the pressure

    3) Rear light - currently considering a Cateye TL-LD 610 for £16.50
I've got a smart 3w thingy very bright and got ot for ~£6 I'd pre fer to have 2or3 of these.

    4) SPDs - lining up the Shimano M520s for £20
good entry level pedal I have a set and they work fine

    5) Stand - the type that hold the rear wheel
    No idea sorry.

    6) Water bottle cage - or is Camelbak the way to go these days?
I prefer hydration packs but depends on personal taste.

    7) Helmet - got the Giro Xen in my sights...
make sure you try it on and check its comfortable

    1) Track pump - Topeak Joe Blow

    2) Shock pump - Specialized Future Shock Pump

    4) SPDs - Shimano XTR (the best, fit and forget)

    6) Water bottle cage - Camelbak Mule (2010) 3ltr bladder and enough room for a day's kit.

    7) Helmet - Spesh S-Works is currently in my sights, light as a feather and excellent for cooling.

    All budget dependant, obviously.

If you dont want to spend mega money on a camelback get yourself to your local costco and have a look at the High Sierra back pack,
Comes complete with a bladder 2ltr.
    3 seperate compartments.
    Big one for jackets/tyres/tubes etc
Medium one for tools pumps etc.
    Small one for phones/cash/Rohypnol/handcuffs

Again, if on budget, check out either the Giro Hex or Giro Phase (I have the phase, excellent helmet, good venting etc)

    Thanks in advance...

i am simply using KF L-Foot Design Work/Display Stand, so far not too much of a problem. it allows you to do some basic maintainence, like chain cleaning, gear adjustment...etc
