And you're still all freaks...

I'm finally home after a pretty awesome weekend catching up with family.

Driven 551 miles to the Midlands, then Reading, back to the Mildands and then back home to South Wales.

Last day off work, back to the grindstone tomorrow.

What's everyone been up to and what have I missed over the weekend?

I watched x-factor purely because I couldn't be arsed going night riding.

I bought a washing machine instead of some new forks.

I sat in a nissan navara.

I browsed autotrader for said car and L200 animals.

    I drank 1/2 a litre of vodka.

I ate a chocolate topped home made bun.

I took a bikini top back to next.

I bought 2 ryanair friendly suitcases from TK maxx.

I looked at my bike which still has SITS dust all over it.

I measured up for a staircase.

    I think that covers it.

I worked most of the weekend, spilt up with the bf, attended a 21st party, and visited family.

Now, I'm trying to crack on with my uni work whilst my brother is playing his drums rather loudly in the room below me.

    Afternoon.

Tis all doom and gloom here at Spong Villas.

Camping is looking unlikely due to the forecast heavy rain Thursday to Saturday, I don't fancy spending three days in a tent with 2 bored children.

The garden's flooded after last nights rain

Work is somewhat 'difficult' at the moment, I'm still picking up emails that are slightly 'worrying'
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

I did some work, went for a run with Maite, then went for a run on my own, did some more work. Gonna walk to get food in a minute. Erm. Nowt else.

Supposedly my new (old) car has a top speed of 140. My usual cars stuggle to 100... I wish they'd never realised people sued the M180 to test how fast their cars would go. Bloody police.

For the record, I don't think it'd go over 120 now.

I wouldn't... You'll be paying way over the odds (I've just looked). In bulk, they should be well under £1 per can. The Ebay ones aren't.
  • But i'm paying £1.90 a can...

its mental that coca cola is so pricey, it can be had, the exact same thing for about 7p in africa, seriously.

The stuff bottled in Africa is a lot sweeter than what we get here though (I never thought that was possible until I tried it).

so it should cost more if anything
  • Oh no doubt. We used to live near a bottling plant in Outwood near Wakefield and rumour had it that it only cost them about 50p per PALLET to produce (obviously, not including distribution costes etc).

On a slightly related note, does anyone remember the whole "Desani" scandal, when they were selling bottled tap water to hippies at like a quid a go. Hee-fookin-larious
