I'm after a alternative replacement middle chainring (32t) for my XTR chainset, can anyone offer an alternative with the same BCD?
current replacement £90+

Will be keeping the same 22t xtr inner, no outer currently running a faceface bashring with spacers

cheers

M970 uses the standard shimano spacings, so you can fire on any current shimano middle ring. I use a steel deore on mine, "when bling and tractor-spec collide" The little rings are slightly different as the XTR one is spaced out slightly, you need to add some small spacers to use standard zero-offset rings.

The middle ring is a straightforward fit though ?

(don't need one yet, just for the memory bank)

Yup, went straight on. Some might have clearance issues requiring a wee tad of filing or grinding apparently but not mine.
