Hi all,

We now have over 3700 riders signed up to ride The Prostate Cancer Charity Tour Rides this year, which give amateur riders the chance to test themselves against the professionals by riding exact stages of this year's Tour of Britain race! Riders can challenge themselves to ride the full Pro road stage of stage 2 (on Sunday 26th September) stage 4 (on Sunday 5th September) or stage 8 (on the day of the final stage of The Tour this year - Saturday 18th September), or take part in the Challenge rides (roughly half the full stage distance) and Family Rides (based around the finish) to enjoy a day out with all the family and soak up the atmosphere of the day.

The Tour Rides this year have been selected to offer a unique challenge and stages 2 and 4 of The Tour are very hilly, so if you want to know what it is like for the professionals in The Tour of Britain, this is your chance! There will be static and moto marshalls, neutral service support and mechanics at the start and finish and all feed / drink stops, food from M&S and from The Tour's sponsors and a free meal at the finish once you've finished and picked up your goody bag, so please do support these events as you'll be making a direct difference to a very important cause - The Prostate Cancer Charity.

There is still time to get your entry in, so please visit www.tourride.co.uk to guarantee your place on the start line under The Tour of Britain gantry! Even better - you'll be able to tune into ITV4 during the race itself to see how the world's best cyclists tackle the same climbs and descents you rode on!

Hope to see lots and lots of you there - who here is signed up to a Tour Ride already? I certainly am!!
