TOTAL hangover this morning - no work for me.
I feel so shite it's unreal, I have mailed into work, not going in.
Spent the majority of the night on the phone to God....
Need some junk food to sooth my pain.
Hows the rest of you?

Goo Morning all!
Wasn't it less than a week ago that you said you felt soooo bad on Monday that you were now giving up Sunday drinking?
I assume that means, from NEXT week then?
Today is a Bank Holiday here on the IOM. I intend on doing huge amounts of fark all followed by long periods of being lazy.
I am also waiting for Goodridge to get back to me with a response to a question I emailed them over the weekend. Then will hopefully be ordering some white brake lines with blue fittings.
I may order some new SPD shoes later too.0 -
Morning all
here Its blowing a force 8 - 9 gale and the rain is coming down in stair rods so no riding today,need to order some chainring bolts as my xt cranks decided do shed on of them;
Apart from that I predict it shall be a boring dayI assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.0 -
The Big Cheese do you actually ever work?
Today, I'm back at work after only getting home at 1 last night (the pub trip lasted about 3 hours long than intended, I wasn't even drinking!).
I've got a nice amount of work today, nice steady pace all day. However, whilst working, I need to figure out where to take a girl on a second date. Any ideas!? And no, not 'on' anyone  She's into rock climbing and kayaking, which I want to get into but am crap at. Do you think for a second date I should invite her somewhere like that? Someone mentioned Go Ape to me...It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Morning All,
Today is a bit rubbish so far, got stopped by the police on the commute, they're going to start issuing £30 for riding on the pavement (fair enough, I don't use the pavement, but she had to ask me a bunch of questions anyway). Aching today and feeling generally rubbish after a stack on Saturday left me with a large bruise/graze on my thigh and elbow making sleeping uncomfortable (hit a reasonably large double too fast, over-shot the landing, resulting in the equivalent of an 8 foot drop to flat -crunch!).Santa Cruz Chameleon

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, god I'm such a tool!
Bank holiday here is NOT a week ahead of the UK like I thought it was, I clearly just made that up. It's bank hol NEXT week.
Hey-ho, I'm still having the day off like :P
Must remember to make up more bank holidays.0 -

I've promised to take a guy from work out on my spare bike today. Torrential rain last night and showers forecast. So a mudbath and a soaking - a good intro to mountain biking for him!Canyon XC 8.0 '11

Good morning.
Went on a club ride yesterday, one of the longest rides I've done all year, so today I'm a bit sore. Today I have to post a pannier rack I sold on eBay, buy some more Shreddies and milk, than probably just relax.0 -

You do seem to have a lot of workday hangovers! But then if I even go near a pub on a weeknight I feel hungover the next morning, even if I'm home by 10pm and only drink a J2O :?

Anyway, today I'm at work, might go out on the bike later. That's about it.0 -
Today i shall be mostly experiencing the joys of a forklift truck refresher course
Lots of H&S videos and signing my name on random bits of paper later methinks.
Dont even know why i'm on the feckin thing, i dont drive the truck any more :roll:MTB's, SC Blur LTc & Cotic Soul (26" definitely aint dead!).

Did i or did i not question you on this?
Morning all, no riding for me this weekend, but apart from that it was quite good fun. no "friends" about as the world and there wife were at V so my plan was to do an epic somewhere but that got pushed to one side for entertaining kids etc.
I just drove past a car in the middle of a raised roundabout, they do make me laugh especially it was after a straight road and he must of hit it with enough speed to 1, get up there and 2 get air when was going, he managed to dent the >>>> signs which are about roof height with his wing mirror. Knob.
I was going to commute the 26 mile round trip all week this week, i have already failled as it was raining on an epic scale at 5 this morning. dont like getting too wet on the way to work, its alright on the way home.0 -

VWsurfbum - Indeed you did. But I was certain that our bank holiday was a week ahead of yours. Never mind though. I now get 2 bank holidays for the price of 10

You sure about that?
How many bank holidays do you have this month?
I'd call that a win.0 -
oh i forgot to say, i almost blinded myself on saturday morning.
the little one comes running up the stairs saying daddy daddy youve got a present. (i'm still in bed trying to have a lye in.) so in the pitch black i open this box up, Yay my new lights have arrived, plugs it together, they automatically switch on as i'm looking dirrectly down the barrel as it were. full beam into tired eyes hurts like hell!
Magicshine lights will be fitted tonight for a we blast me thinks.0 -
My second set of magicshine lights are broken
Don't think I'm going to bother buying any more now.0 -
well, i feel ok now but......
i took my little boy to hospital on friday because he wouldn't stop throwing up or crapping everywhere and they told us it's just a bug gave us some medicine and sent us on our way. on saturday night i the started to throw up everywhere and non stop crapping. that stopped at about 6pm yesterday so i had nearly 24 hrs of being sat on the toilet. i must've lost about a stone!!!0 -
Morning all, off work today and no car as I've lent it to my Dad.
Today will be spent with the usual uni work, tv, housework.0 -
Morning all,
Cat, nicely done. I shall have to try that on my boss sometime “I thought it was a bank holiday, oh well, I might as well stay at home now anyway”.
Mule, Go Ape could be a good “compromise”, physical, but not overly challenging. I’m going on Saturday with a few peeps for my birthday.
Had a reasonable weekend, actually got to sleep til about half 8 yesterday, which is a lay in for me. Decided to be semi boring and just go for a blast long along the canal into London yesterday, just to see where I’d end up (with partial planning for potentially riding to Regent’s Park with family for a picnic type thing). 2 things to note, 1 – Bloody kissing gates on canal paths are so annoying, 2 – flats and regular trainers feel weird after riding SPD’s for so long.
Had to bring car in today and weather was horrible, I hate bringing car on my “riding days”, must get some decent waterproof gear for my commute.
Saw a little lizard outside our house last night, little brown 1 about 2 inches long, was pretty cool. They look so funny when they walk.
Is it 5 yet?"I ride to eat"0 -
im having a lovely day off. walking the dogs, building some muscles and riding a bike are the things on my agenda.
