Tyring
Clever Pun

Right so I've got these relatively new tyres and I got a punture on Friday morning as a piece of wire got through one.
I removed the offending wire (so I thought) When I went to replace the tube and shredded my finger on some wire on the inside. I removed that piece and put new tube in. Got another puncture checked the tyre and nothing, new tube, another puncture.... repeat.
So I've swapped tyres, turned the offender inside out and checked again... nothing. I've cleaned the inside of the rim as well to no effect.
Any suggestions?

Is there wire in the rim tape? Spokes popping through the rim tape?FCN 2-4.

The rim and tape is fine, I only really checked the location of the puncture once when at home, it was a pinprick hole but couldn't see any evidence of something protryding from tyre at all.
New tyre today and no problem... just seems such a shame to bin a £30odd tyre which isn't even 2 months old yetPurveyor of sonic doom
