Went to the cinema last night, the expendables was a pretty stupid film. Sun is out so cycles gotta be had, just hope the wind isn't too brutal.0

Just got back from Cannock, fantastic ride today! New wheel built by Merlin was fantastic, really noticed the weight (even though it is only 200g lighter) and I had completely forgotten what a great tyre the Conti Vertical is for a front wheel and Superstar grips made a massive difference to comfort
Really was one of those fun and fast rides where you're grinning so much you can't help but get mud flicked up on your teeth
One gripe is that I am getting more and more worried about my health, as since the beginning of the summer I am getting less and less fit and really struggle now on the climbs the last few weeks0 -

That's today's news from the Wiltshire trails. 1+2=3. I kept meeting them coming the other way on my favourite bits of singletrack but they were all so lovely (1 not 2) that I was quite happy to throw myself in the stinging nettles so that they would smile at me.
I saw yet another unidentified creature. I can't tell you what it was (obviously) but this is getting ridiculous  I disturbed it about 100 yards ahead of me in twisting woodland singletrack and I reckoned a baby deer with a white tail bounding away and then disappearing in the trees to one side. It was grey and it was holding it's tail up with the white underpart showing. Just before it disappeared, I realised that the tail was long and bushy like a fox's brush. But it was at least twice the size of any fox I've seen and the wrong colour.
Wolf, obviously :? It's only a matter of time before I meet a sasquatch ...Canyon XC 8.0 '11

Good Afternoon, been to work, for the football fans, met Owen Coyle, been visiting family and now home for a chill out and maybe take away tea as I didn't get one last night.0
