Let's Write A Story........

After perusing the threads on Bikeradar for the past year or so, I can see that we're a literate and educated lot.
So I was thinking we should show off our skills as authors. In a reasonably similar way to how the song title thread works with each post connected to the previous one, we could write a story.
It's a simple concept. The story unfolds by each poster simply writing three words which move the narrative on (using full stops,commas etc where necessary). It can be as serious or as plain daft as you want. It'll be interesting and funny to see how the story develops.
I'll start the story off............
