Obviously shall be riding while we are there so just wondering what the set up is. Do you needs maps and GPS to places such Minton Batch,, Long Mynd and the like or is it all pretty easy to follow loops or even way marked?

I've just clicked on that link... only to find a picture of me at the bottom of one of the descents off the Long Mynd, can't even remember who took it  .

Unless they've put new waymarkers up, then you will probably need an OS map. I use 1:25000, but 1:50,000 would probably be fine for that area. Be sure to ride the descent from 'Pole Cott' down to Little Stretton, it's marked as a footpath on the map, but was upgraded a while back and is definitely legal, and a whole lot of fun.
Forget your heart, it's your bank i wanna break, it's just yer money i'm after baby...
