Ok I'm a mountain biker who has got fat and lazy recently and i dont drive so i am now looking at getting a road bike to help me shed the weight. I have looked at numerous bikes and have read loads of articles with people saying spesh this and that or trek this and the other however i have found the following 2 bikes and wondered what everyone thinks. I am on a tight budget of no more than £700 but has to have decent groupset and build quality

The Concorde is streets ahead of the Corretec in every thing,a much better spec I would def' go for that one as I cant see anything that would need upgrading at all0

I agree about the spec on the Concorde but as no-one seems to be able to find any compnay details anywhere I would be very wary..0

oopSay... That's a nice bike..

According to the Wiggle website it carries a 2 year guarantee. I suspect that the frame is made in Taiwan just like nearly every other frame some with very hefty price tags. If you are happy with the wiggle guarantee I cant see a problem.0

concordes a very good spec. i'm sure wiggle has a 30 try before you buy policy.0

Shimano 105 and decent wheels at that price is impressive.http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.
