Seeing as the "RIP Monster Truck" Thread showed quite a few cat lovers within the Crudders, I wonder how many of you have cats (or are owned by cats)

I took a kitten on a few months back. I named the little tyke "Milo"
He's just under 5 months old and soon to get microchipped and de-balled

The day I got him in May this year

Here are our 2 cats - just had their 10th birthday but they don't act that way (according to the vet they are now geriatric!)

My cat just passed away a couple of months back. It was in human years but it was blind in one eye, It started to get thinner and thinner and started to pee randomly so we took it to the ved and had to be put down.

This is my 11 year old moggie called Billie. I have had cats since I was 10 apart from a 6 month gap 11 years ago. Nothing beats sitting on my patio on a summers evening watching her chase her tail, apart from sitting in my armchair in front of the fire with a purring moggie curled up on my lap.

I am owned by 5 of the hairball barfing, legclawing, purry little buggers
    Gethin,
rescue cat, was badly beaten so now has a crushed eyesocket and fused leg coz the git didn't take him to the vet and get him treated
    gethin-1.jpg

    Carys,
Gethins sister, took her in with him as she had a bowel issue that was untreated, she's now allergic to most catfood
    carys.jpg

    Geiger
Sounds like a Geiger counter when he purrs, rescued from being drowned
    geiger.jpg

    Amber,
rescued by the previous owner, we ended up with her coz the rescuer was moving and couldn't take her ad her brother.

Gol aka Gollum, so named by my sister when she thought Gol was a boy. Most evil little kitten in the world but I still loved her. She moved with my sister when she moved out, and got knocked over on the main road last year :(

  • My GF's rescue cat Toffee.... she's a mute because she was neglected/beaten when she was a kitten - was in a rather bad state when they adopted her :(

Makes me sneeze like buggery too, but she's cute :)

I'd have a cat but we can't just now as there might be a few 'compatibility' problems with my kid's pet hamster  So we spoil next doors instead as then we don't have to buy cat food ot take it to the vet. Most cats are tarts and they'll go where they get the most attention/spoilt, so next doors pops over the fence quite a bit :)

Our cats thought our hamster was great fun when he escaped ..Gethin was trying to carry the hamster about my his stumpy tail ( we excuse Gethin as the battering he had hs made him a bit simple lol)....otherwise they just sat and stared at the hamster...he was bloomin lucky

Lucky Hammy Hamster indeed :!: Mind you those Syrian hamsters can be vicious little bu**ers when they feel threatened. When we were trying to pick her up for the first time she sunk her teeth into my finger and feck it hurt: I drew my hand back very quickly by reflex action and accidentally smacked it on the nearest piece of furniture - with hamster still attached...felt a bit guilty after that

Bit small mate? I suppose though you'd need to know the cat, to make the comparison...

One of my old cats, Kipper:

This thing was a psycho! It corned my ex GF's mother in the kitchen when she tried to feed it. Bit her and drew blood. Thankfully the cat was ok.

I had my Dad staying once and it sat in his bed. He tried to go to bed and it hissed at him, he slept on the sofa in the lounge!

I tried to give the cat away warning them what it was like. It beat up their dog and gave the husband laserations to the arms.

I eventually gave it away to a mad cat woman! It bit me as I handed it over, just for old times sake!

Both rehomed... Cleo on the right was rehomed by my wife prior to me meeting her... We chose Jin on the left together when we moved in.

This is a rare shot of them both together.
