20 quid for 10 Airwave tubes at CRC.
They are pretty decent tubes, I use them sometime sif I can't get any of my favourite Conti ones0 -
Tyre width? Halfords had a pack of 5x 1.8 - 2.2 (I think) for £15. Evans have Conti ones for £3 each.0

+1 Wooly Hat Shop - cheap and fast. Bought some stuff Sunday, arrived Tuesday.

Cycle world were and still are doing 3 for 1 on tubes b ut they do charge a hefty fiver for carriage so you need to order a few to make the carriage cost effective. Can't see why you can't order 30 and pay £55 with carriage.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

i get mine from tesco, £2.20 ish i think, decent tubes too, 200g and work fine on 2.3 tyres,Timmo.

I've been using Airwave tubes from CRC. £2.99 if bought single, or £1.99 if bought 10 or more. I must say, I've not had a pu**ture ever since using them, and I'm a big chap who crashes through stuff lots.0

I bought ten airwave tubes for 20 quid from CRC - 2.1 to 2.6 tyre size - sweet deal. But looks like they are out of stock currently.

Why the hell would you need to buy tubes in bulk, really?
surely, one in each tyre, and two spares at the most is all you need? :?0 -
i properly cant be bothered with tubes, i have them on the gt and my first ride out got a puncture on the front, i havent had a puncture in a bout3 years before that.
tyres are holding up at the moment but im not holding my breath.
thing is, ive got a stans kit in the tool box but the rims on the hope hoops are too wide iirc for the strips i have so i need to decide whether i can be bothered with forking out for a new stans kit and some tyres.0 -
I'm pondering whether to fork out for a new Stan's kit for the newer bike too. But, Since I've fallen out with the bloke who's compressor I used to borrow, I would need......
Rim strips
Tyres
Compressor.
Which adds up to a hell of a lot of money, really.
Especially when I'm still umm-ing and aah-ing about getting new wheels anyway.0
