Routes near to St Ives, Cornwall

Hi all

We go to St Ives for a week on Saturday. I wasn't going to take my bike as hoped to spend the week on the beach. However, it appears that this might not be viable, given the weather forecast!

So, any tips/routes/places to avoid etc?

All help very welcome, given the timescale!!
