second post from me today - I'm having a bad time!
I have Ultegra hollowset cranks and use XT MTB pedals. I am finally giving in and becoming a proper roadie so have bought road shoes and pedals.
BUT
I can't release the R pedal.
I've had long extensions on the allen key and teh opposit crank - I've hetaed and cooled pedal and crank arm - I've sprayed with lubricants.
I really am trying to turn it the right way!
Any advice please.

I am assuming you do know that the thread on the left hand side crank is the reverse of that for the right side. ie, the right side is unscrewed in the normal/counter clockwise direction.

Penetrating spray is much better then lube. It's has smaller molecules and gets in tight threads much easier. Spray the area a few times and leave overnight.CAAD9
