How does Oxney Moss compare to the other circuits? Its fairly local to me. Cant say I can manage to get all the way round without dabbing my foot down somewhere, but I'm trying!
I wouldnt mind following the track as used in the series but I'm not sure where the start/end point is, I'm assuming its Martinique Square (the big expanse of concrete) and you follow the black arrows on the small white discs? I think I've done a different route each time. Any help would be appreciated!

Seem to recall a similar thread a couple of months ago before the Bordon race. Think the white discs are a running route of some sort. The actual xc course is only laid out and marked with tape before each race, and I think is quite tricky to follow otherwise.Scott Scale 20 (for xc racing)

Thanks Joe. I did about 2.5 miles following the discs on the way back from work today. Looking at the SCX website each lap is about 5 miles so it must snake around alot. Oxney Moss isnt a huge area.1999 Scott Vail - Work commute

This was the Southern XC race, it's 4 laps, so it's a bit hard to work out, but if you've got a GPS you can follow that, or it may hint at the route.
As said, the signs that stay behind are for the army running route, nowt to do with the bike race, the course changes each time, so there's no regular circuit. As for the other venues they vary, Pippingford has much bigger hills, Wasing is similar, Chawton Wood could be similar, but it's always been a muddy mess!0 -
Thanks for that, the GPS info is very useful. At least I can work out a decent training programme based on it.1999 Scott Vail - Work commute
