Anyone been to lennox Forest recently?
Just wondering what the state of play there is?

    May be a silly question is lennox forest near lennoxtown? if so i went for a walk up there when i came up to glasgow to see the family, i havent seen much of it but a did google earth it and looks like there a few trails there. i am thinking of bringing up bike up next time.

    I know they ripped it down, but there is still some trails there. was there a few times last year and there was soem trees being felled so it was a little like going through a jungle. Not sure what it is like this year, but might pop up Saturday.

    Can you let us know how it rides? Haven't been there for a few years. How many miles can you stretch it to? There wasn't a lot last time.

    Yeah let us know, my take bike up next because i make several trips to lennoxtown a year. Visiting family

    Well, popped up to Lennox Forest on Saturday. Went up from Baldernock side, past the Lynn Caves. Climb up, with lovely views accross the city. Trails in the Forest are fine, and well worth doing. There is some built stuff there, big drop off and a little north shore.
    Headed back to Mugdock via Strathblane and Carglas woods. Great day out.

    Sunday did Ben Venue, went up to the end of the trees and biked down from there. Not all ridable on way up, but most was on way down. Great fun!
