Planet X Pro Carbon Wheel Selection

I have just ordered a Px SL Pro Carbon Sram Red to be built mid Sept. The wheel options were either type B or A57. I selected type Bs but I am not sure that I have made the right choice. The bike will be used for fitness and pleasure- not racing. I weigh 90kg. Local roads are as poor as anywhere in UK
Would the A57s be overkill and out of keeping with the bike?
Anyone know the weight differance?
Anyone any experience of the two options?
Any info really appriciated. Thanks

I'm lighter than you, but rode model Bs on a JOGLE and they were great. Did everything I asked of them and look good too.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I've weighed over 90kg and used the model B's for racing, they where great.
They are a pretty tough robust set of wheels.
You've made a good decision and you should have zero problems0 -
I had Model B's on my PX for the last 18 months, but have just changed them due to a nipple breaking. Made me realise the risks on riding low spoke count alu nipple wheels when weighing 95kg ish!
The wheels are good - light for the money tho.
I have replaced them with some Harry Rowland built mavic open pros 32h. I think they look good - more of a classic look, no noticeable weight difference and more planted feel on the road.
The model B's will likely serve you well - just be aware of the potential limitations of alu nipples and low spoke counts. One can't have ones cake and eat it, so to speakMens agitat molem0
