Not so great tonight. 4 different stations in city. All showing conspicuously one or a few bikes. Lo and behold red light of death when try and take them. Call centre very courteous and even called me back to recommend another site. Ended up on tube. No idea if a bike is dud or system. Amazed me to pass 2 bikes with pedal missing one which I registered faulty a week ago. Bit disenchanted. :(

    Sounds frustrating. But it seems a very popular scheme! :) Maybe they will crunch some numbers soon, see it's popular and introduce more bikes, and recruit more peeps to fix things sooner ;)

    In anycase, it's winter soon so there will be lots of them spare :D

    Nothing like as popular as Paris yet. Out there you see literally queues of people on Velib bikes on every side street. Some people seems to be managing to use the London bikes thoughn - every day I see 2 or 3
