Ok, so the Rapha stuff looks cracking but we're not all millionairres. I've seen a couple of examples though, recently, of much more affordable cyclewear at more reasonable prices.

My personal favourites are:

www.shuttvr.com - great 'roadie' wear with a traditional slant but modern materials / construction.

www.chromebagsstore.com - spotted this in another link someone posted on these forums today. Commuting / bike about town stuff, basied in America. Love the merino wool hoodie!

Any other sites people can suggest that are a little bit 'different' from the norm?

Pretty sure it was me that posted the Chrome link, Cadence cycle clothing also does some nice (fixie chic) gear on occasion -

Always had a good experience ordering from them too. Remarkably quick for a small company shipping from the US.
  • Hi,

How accurate is the Shuttvr sizing? Whenever I've ordered from Rapha, I appear to have recieived this chap's stuff by mistake.

I like that little guy, he`s a typical grumpy teenager and he smokes and he doesn't like being picked up by tossy tv presenters.
    Smarter than the average bear.

I think the OP means for those impromptu macchiato sipping moments rather than 'normal' cycling clothing

i`ve been looking for a belgian champion jersey as worn by gilbert which i could of got from the official pharma lotto site but that would take at least 10 days from payment from belgium( could drive there and back 5 times ! )
i then ended up on e bay and a top seller in china was selling a nalini top and bibs for £37 with free shipping ( the top alone is £70-80 in the uk)- should also be here in less than 10 days. all the feedback from this seller was good so i`ve got a bargain i think.
there was plenty of other nice kit on there too.

anyone had experience of buying from china ?

    Surface!!

Small range but its superb, have 2xshorts, 1xhoodie and 1xjacket! Its much better priced than swrve with no loss of quality and personally looks better.
