    Just saw the clip. Ha.

    Epic reaction.

    He'll be sacked now.
  • He has form;

    He made a public apology in 2007 after calling the Western Isles and the west Highlands "nowheresville" during a live weather broadcast.
    :lol:
    But he is sorry again;

    Anyone know what he gets paid?
    Some of the wages at the BBC are shocking.

    The BBC don't pay his wages, he's more likely employed as civil servant with the Met office.

    Also, who videos their TV? Seems strange.

    If he's on 15k he's only having a laugh. Slap on the wrist and get on with it.

    But if it's 100k+ (which it probably is) then you'd expect some responsibility ... plus
    there must be thousands of people that could and would do that job.

    That's probably the case ... still tax money.

    Nope, I've never heard of Sky+ instant rewind. I'm on VirginMedia and it's a load of garbage. The only instant repeats I get is adverts for "we buy any car....com" and "Go compare!"

    The main newsreaders get c.90k, so no way do the weathermen get anything close to 100k.

    @ jim453 - he certainly is, and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

    I did a London to Paris ride in July and Tomasz ended up in our group of 5 or 6 lads who'd never met before, proper good laugh :lol:

    I think the BBC received a total of zero complaints. So I don't see any sackings or anything as a result of this.

    Still, that didn't stop the papers reporting on the 'outrage', whilst printing the very image that had apparently caused the 'outrage' :?

    He was on Radio 4 earlier. I hope they're not making sure he only does 'safe' radio work.

    Buckled_Rims just press the pause button then you can rewind and play again. Easy peasy for an uneducated s*d like me.

    There again I read the instructions so am obviously not a man. :wink:

    Anyone able to shed any light on this post?

    It appears to involve me, but doesn't follow the thread. Not too unusual on this forum but i'm fairly bored and mildly interested.

    Tarquin Foxglove pointed out he was a cyclist in the post before yours, if you look at the screen it's feasible that Steve pressed 'quote' on your post by mistake rather than Tarquin's...

    At least that's what I reckon!
