Helvellyn

any one tried doing helvellyn starting somehwere near helmside/mill bridge, and cycling north up the A591 to sticks pass, turn right onto raise and then the summit of helvellyn, then down via nethermost pike, dollywaggon pike, round grisedale tarn and back to mill bridge/helmside down little tongue?

from what i've heard between dollywaggon pike and grisedale tarn there has been alot of rebuilding, turning it into a giant rock garden. i'm wondering if the descent from grisedale tarn back to mill bridge/helmside is worth riding or not?

Not sure about the decent from Grisedale Tarn down Little Tongue but I can confirm the Bridleway leading of Dollywagon Pike down to Grisedale Tarn has been 'upgraded' and is unrideable :evil:
