Afternoon folks,

Is anyone taking part in this on Saturday Sept 11th ?

I'd be interested to know how difficult it really is, and is it easy enough to switch to the lesser distances if you're not feeling up to it on the day ? What sort of training is required/have you done ?

Any comments/pics etc much appreciated, thank you :)

    I've now entered it...I'd be interested to read peoples suggested "kit list" for this type of event.

    From what I've read, it could be quite rocky, but also has potential to be very wet if the weather turns, tyre suggestions?

    If I'm to stand any chance of finishing this, I need the right kit so need to start buying now...
