Dawes Accessories

Hi chaps,

Quick bit of help needed. I'm desperately trying to find replacement mud guards and pannier (sp?) rack for a dawes galaxy. Not sure exactly how old the frame is, maybe 5 or 6 years, can imagine they've changed much though. Anyone know where I can get hold of these?

They should be pretty generic (though I'd be suprised if the pannier rack was worn out... Did it get bent or something?). Any decent LBS should be able to sell you a set of Esge/SKS Chromoplastic mudguards that would do the job well. They come in various sizes to suit the wheels and tyre width you're using.

Similarly with the pannier rack. There shouldn't be any issues. If you don't have a bike shop that caters for tourists (some are very MTB/Road-race focussed) then try phoning Spa Cycles in Harrogate. They specialise in Touring bikes and will probably know exactly what will work.
