Which Carbon bits?

Hi there,
I'm getting a carbon framed bike for the first time and have a few questions.
On my current alloy framed bike I have a carbon fork (not steerer) and also a carbon seatpost.
These components help with vibration.
My question is on the carbon bike it currently has an alloy seat post, so I will change this to a carbon one, but should I look to also get say a carbon stem to haelp with vibration or is it a bad idea to have carbon seat and alloy bars?
Cheers,
Dru.

Ride the bike first before you decide on buying all of those extra parts!0

The carbon frame itself (dependant on design) will absorb more road vibration than any carbon seatpost or stem alone will.
As RobG100 says - ride it before you start swapping parts.Cycling weakly0 -
Carbon bars will make more of a difference than a carbon stem, and they would be fine with an allow stem or vice versa as long as you tighten them up carefully. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

Ah - so it's not an absolute necessity to have those bits.
Phew.... thats a relief
