Quite a nice autumnal morning here. Crisp, cold and for once I am not sweating my nads off....

Good, rested weekend was had, many good things were purchased (online) and not a hangover in sight. So am going into this week in a better frame of mind than usual. Last Monday was sooooo bad (hangover from hell) that I am giving up Sunday drinking.

Finish at 5:00 today so should be back home 'aving ma Tea around 6:00.....

Shall be heading over to Richer Sounds on lunch break to start the research into my budget surround set up..... (£350)

You?

    In pain

We held dadstock at the w.end & had 2 quads & 4 motorbikes to play with. Managed to turn over a quad & bin one of the motorbikes. Can decide which hurts more the cuts, etc on the left leg or the burns on the right leg!

Top w.end though & both my boys had a ball, so much so that there was tears as I left for work today.

One more week at work & its a couple of weeks holiday 8)

top of the morning to ya!

i am in a world of hurt this morning after sundays race, it turns out that not training and being ill for 3 weeks doesnt help your staminer or fitness!
i got cramp in both thighs at the top of a jumpy mound thing, i screamed like a big girl as i rolled off into the wilderness as i couldnt move, stood there until i could my bike down, screamed a bit more, then carried on. a total of 8 minutes lost in one lap!

no more purchases this month as need to save some money for vegas which is the only thing keeping a smile on my face 8)

Worse.....but it's not even in the UK.

I have never been to Wigan I am afraid so cannot comment, I have been to Essex and every pub you walk in you overhear a conversation worthy of a stint on Jeremy Kyle :?

you should come to brentwood, no jeremy kyle chat in the pubs, just how wonderful their hair/makeup/BMW/chelsea tractor is. how great their reflection is when they walk past said BMW or Chealsea tractor.

    Y'orite?

Landlord's just been over to do the PAT testing, which means I don't have to wait in all day for their arrival. As a result, I may go out on a bike. Probably a road bike, but possibly a mountain bike. The issue with that, though, is that I'd have to take it on a train covered in mud on the way back, which may not be popular...

Last week of meh before my hols :(:D
  • Hai everyone!
I'm back from my week in Essex.VWsurfbum I would have gone in a pub on Friday for a dinner (what your folk call 'lunch') but everyone was either closed or not serving food! It's a disgrace, it would never happen in the North! ;)

Well, before I left I went to the doctor, I do have chronic eczema, therefore can't join the army (which is a poo excuse!) :( Lots happening at work though, which should lead to a good pay rise and also me gaining a minion....

Someone fill me in on any info that's happened, I can't be bothered reading the last 4 pages of cr*p you've left me :D
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

In work undermining everyone as I'm leaving in two weeks. Managed to change this morning's meeting about sales pledges into one about smearing myself with jam. Also completed my leaver's questionairre and where it asks "what will be your next role?" I have answered "gaucho" and pasted this picture on..

    Afternoon all,

This morning’s ride in was almost jet propelled, and not in a good way. Had a classy dinner of beans on toast last night (roast at in-laws FAIL) and this morning’s ride was a dangerous affair. Beans never used to have this affect on me, but recently I’ve been putting black pepper on to give a little extra something something. Don’t think it’s the black pepper as I have it with many other things, but this meal has now become rather dangerous for me.

A rather decent weekend was had. Took the offspring out on their bikes Saturday morning and they managed to find every puddle there was, the eldest even had a go at ending up in the lake, the puddles were obviously no longer a big enough challenge for him. Then managed to offload them for the rest of the weekend, got a pretty decent price as well so used the money to go and see Knight and Day. As much as Mr Cruise is a freak nut job, he does know how to make an entertaining film, this went a long way towards making up for Vanilla Sky. Sunday, me and the wife actually had a lay in for the 1st time in ages, then took the bikes for a little pootle down the canal. I’d say the weekend was 1 blagged roast short of sheer awesome.

I’ve just got to remember who we gave the kids to now……..

    Is it 5 yet?
