Very nice. 17.9467 / 10
Matchmakers are like twiglets, but more minty, aren't they? Awesome idea to have some of them located on the bike for mid ride snacking emergencies.0 -
those bits would look nice if anodized.
as afr as i can tell they just paint them or summat i think.0 -

80Euro was too much for XTR cranks. and 60€ for an XTR rear mech
shame there was no Hammershmit."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

do i bastardize the brakes with my current Code calipers? not that i really need that much power.... i could have got elixers but no carbon..... maybe the Codes go in the mad bike..."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Can I have them?
I'll swap you a pair of vintage Hope C2s.
Vintage, oooooooh! Think how cool they'd look on your pub bike0 -
I have enough vintage stuff.
and by that stuff that works.
like the old Hope Mini. blew the C2 into the ditch...
Yeeha dont forget if it is Vintage, Been there done it and ....."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

HEY! Nowt wrong with C2s! When I got them they weren't even called C2s, I don't think. Pretty sure they were just "Hope disc brakes" because there wasn't another model available.
The rear is still doing great duty!
Go oooooon, I'm serious about the swap0 -
+1 that C2's were great
And why not mash one code caliper with the juicy lever for the front and keep the other for the rear as is0 -
