His brakes are lobsided at the front and it looks like a bike from one of those street corner car dealerships. Good luck to him actually, he's havin' a go!

It's one of those bikes that doesn't actually brake, unless it's your face planted into the ground that's doing the braking...

He's actually doing it with flat tyres in a bid to raise more money and as a change to the usual LEJOG.

  • Mr O'Grotes is the man who sold him the bike. :)

Ah! But what you have all failed tospot is that the flat tyres are cancelled out by the high performance 'brown' chain.

He must be determined, If I set off on that, about 10 meters down the road I'd be turning back and demanding a road bike.

He probably suggested it when drunk in the pub one night thinking 'how hard can it be eh?' and the next day his mates have told the local papers and he's had to dig out the bike he used to use for his paper-round to do a photo shoot.

We get a lot of these types of stories in the local paper. General give away is when its JoGLe not LeJoG. Lots of funny ones where people are doing walks for charity......one recently where some people were walking 20 miles in 2 days!!!! In the end I gues if people are willing to give them money to do it then its for a good cause!

I reckon the tyres are properly inflated but the other two fellas are massively strong and pushing down hard on the bars and saddle. When they let go he'll do an involuntary bunny hop.

Actually that bikes in good condition compared to some of the sh*theaps i see some of the kids round my way riding on,they will spend 100 quid on a pair of trainers but wont spend a quid on a brake cable.

Bear in mind the walkers were likely 400lbs each in weight and would need a crane to get them on their feet, 20 miles is good

I might do a charity swim, I'm crap at swimming so it'd be especially hard for me, it would be Blackpool to New York unassisted.

I`d sponsor that  Would you have to hold yer breath as well ?
