Nice day! Took dog out, and found this bush - never seen owt like it, was absolutely teaming with these great big colourful butterflies:

Thats a buddlea bush (AKA butterfly bush) we have one in the garden the butterflys love it.
Some times later on we have purple emperers in the garden too, my neighbour loves them and spends hours watching/attracting them. :roll:0 -

The brightly coloured one is a Peacock butterfly if I'm not mistaken. The smaller one in the second photo looks like he's been in a scrap
Noticed the heather is in flower as well on my local trails, literally alive with buzzing bees wasps and the like.Vis Unita Fortior0 -
