Felt F4, looks like a good deal from Merlin.
Anyone got any pros and/or cons for this ride?
Is it gonna differ greatly from the F3, which came in the top 5 'bike of the year".
Cheers

Well, I had the Felt F3c(2006 model) with Dura Ace and Fulcrum Racing 3's but that was nicked a month ago so I am looking for a replacement. The F4 looks like a good deal at that price point but falls into Pinarrello Fp2 territory so it is not so cut and dried. Personally I preferred the naked carbon and don't like the new colour schemes but they are still a well specced bike for the money.I spent some of my money on a Felt Carbon Fibre bike and a nice titanium MTB.....................................................................
the rest I squandered.0 -

@ norfolk...
Not sure what " Pinarello FP2 territory" is ??
So, was the Felt a good ride?Finished0 -
The Felt is a good ride - feels very stiff, but not harsh. is not a climbing bike though and not as agile as an italian racing frame, but goes around corners a lot better than my old cervelo P3http://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Yep, the Felt was a good ride. I did a few 100 mile rides on it over the 3 1/2 years I had it. I had a 54cm which was just right for me at 5' 9 1/2". Miss it greatly.
The Pinarello I was on about was at Ribble....
