    Typical courier wanker.
  • lmao! :D

I came round a corner in the car yesterday to be confronted by some horses and a roadie trying to get passed them.... all I heard was..

    Roadie: Fu(king horses....
Horse Rider: Fu(king bikes... (plus middle finger)

  • Funny stuff, was handled pretty well if you ask me, both people were in the wrong, so neither could really say anything.

The guy crossing the road wasn't exactly in the wrong. The road was clear and he was visible to any traffic that would be coming.

Cyclist on the other hand was riding the wrong way, no helmet, weaving in traffic, and wasn't in control of his bike.

Jaywalking is considered a serious offence in the US so he didn't want any police attending, irrespective of the cyclist's infringements.

In many cities in the USA it is illegal to cross a road without using a pedestrian crossing or "crosswalk"
The city of NY enforced a "Zero Tolerance" program in the 90's under the then mayor Ed Koch and if you "jaywalked" you were arrested and then fined.
It was amazing how many wanted felons they managed to apprehend through jaywalking offenses. More importantly pedestrian related deaths plummeted

i think wearing a helmet can cause as many injuries as they prevent.

very obvious trolling there big fella , need to up your game a bit.

anyways , i think that was a brilliant conclusion to that incident , both in the wrong , both moved on without a fuss , simples.
i noticed the pedestrian was more concerned with moving on before the rozzers turned up than the cyclist , which shows how tough the yanks are on jaywalking.

I just assumed some people didn't wear one because they're double hard ?

    That's why I do it.

Sometimes I'll do it while erect, then I'm triple hard.

I'm such an 'ard bastrad that friends of the earth actually insist on my wearing a helmet. I used to damage the planet ever time I came off my bike, and at the rate i was going, they reckoned the world was going to end in 6 years.

Did you fall of a lot in Plymouth by any chance ?

Yes, I did. That's why I'm not allowed to enter Plymouth, or anyone from Plymouth anymore.
If I do head to P;ymouth, I often disguise myself as a lamp post. The bugger's can't catch me then!

Nah, not really. I didn;t like plymouth, and people don't like me, so it's a win win for humanity.
The less places I'm allowed to go the better, really.
  • Honestly, who carries a camera on their shoulder like a parrot while riding for work?! whatever next, sharks with lazer beams on their frickin heads?? Needs to invest in some braking skills too - i.e actually cover them while riding one handed - what a chiseller!
