everywhere does it round here, my ave is the green one, i dont know if its a placebo but it properly brightens me up. i like green relentless too.
  • i've only tried the orange one... tis like orange sherbert :D

Not too keen on Relentless myself.... Redbull Cola is nice though!
  • The Orange Monster is my favourite too. Like rocket fuel it is!

same as Sheeps, the sell it everywhere round here too.

Keep meaning to try that Rockstar one. What's that like?

This is true... got it from the services on the way down to Cardiff as I was falling asleep.

After a can I was wide awake till 5am

The only place i've found it is in Spar, but its the green one and its £1.40 a can!

you can get rock star in 700ml cans here with a screw top, its delicious enough but doenst really seem to have the same physical effect on me as monster or relentless.

Supermarkets generally don't carry them. Try corner shops, smaller shops, etc.

Hmm, I've never seen Monster anywhere.
Relentless is everywhere though, and is awesome. For some reason after a can of Relentless I'm like a hyperactive child who's accidentally eaten some cocaine instead of sherbert, then polished it off with some speed

I still can't get around the aftertaste of Relentless. It's just horrible.

If anyone can be bothered to search for it, I did a big comparison of all the energy drinks I've tried months ago.

Aftertaste? I've not noticed that, but the only ones I've tried are Origin (the one I usualyl get) and Inferno.
I think I'm probably too busy trying to eat my own face off and grinding my teeth to notice any aftertaste.
  • Monster wins hands down.

We have relentless on tap at uni, but its a shame i don't like it. I'll drink it to keep me awake through a shift though.

Really? Both our supermarkets here carry everything but Rockstar. In fact, they're the only place you can buy a multipack.

WHSmiths also sells them, and quite often has them on offer too.
  • Morrisons usually has monster!

Tesco here has all of them (Relentless, Monster, Rockstar, Red Bull) but quite often only has the blue monster in stock of the 3 Monsters (never seen the orange one there) probably because they sell out so damn fast, shelves are quite often empty less than one day after restocking

It tastes really sh!t compared to all the others, like a watered down green one.

I still drink it though if thre are no others, doesn't give the same kick though and there is a good reason for that, theres less caffeine

Meh, what about KICK, V, Red Rooster, Mule etc etc

We bought one can of some cheap energy drink when driving to South Wales and back once, I swear it made us hallucinate

Yes they sell Kick (now Kx), its exclusive to Tesco.

Red Rooster is exclusive to Co-Op

And the others I'm not sure about

Kx and RR taste basically the same as Origin Relentless though and costs less for twice as much, I get that quite a lot

I found red rooster to taste exactly like Red Bull. Same goes with Kick. In fact, I swear it IS red bull, but for 59p per litre :D

I definatly find it tastes more like relentless although Red Bull and Relentless aren't that different TBH

Whatever it tastes like, it tastes good and you can get 2 litres for 1.50 :D:D:D
  • I agree with yeehaamcgee. That KX stuff from Tesco tastes just like Red Bull. In fact, I've got a bottle in the fridge and have just had a sip to confirm this fact.

They sell Monster in Wilkinsons at 98p a can, cheapest place I have seen it. Not sure if they have the orange one, definitely stock the blue and green though.

Monster is by far my favourite of the energy drinks, used to be even better before they lowered the amount of caffeine in it.
  • for those who prefer online shopping you can buy through amazon....

    Postage is rather steep tho

Monster Khaos (the orange one) is gorgeous, they stock it in the newsagents next to where I work so I end up getting one most workdays! Supermarkets 'round here stockthe majority of energy drinks (though sadly no orange monster), often get 2 for £2 deals or similar.

  • think there closed mate and yeah for buzz wise Monster>Relentless>rockstar
but imo rockstar is the nicest
  • I agree that rockstar is the nuts - and turns ur pee toxic yellow too - for me anyway... which always brings a smile to my face. Not sure other urinal visitors finding me having a wee rocking backwards and forwards chuckling away is very comforting tho lol!

I like the tesco offering too, cheap and cheerful!
