Who stole our waste bins?

Out of sheer lack of bike boredom I had a waddle down to Halfords. On my way there I was handed a booklet which I assumed was an advert for some crappy nightclub or some cheaply built cafe on the outskirts of town; it wasn't, it was a bloody religion related pile of twaddle that I'd quite joyfully accepted off the miserable old bint who handed it to me.

When I realised what it was I started my look for a waste bin, there was no way in hell that was going anywhere near my home. On my entire walk along the outskirts of Bolton I saw one waste bin - and that was vandalised in bits on the floor.

Who the hell stole our bins? Was it God's way of making me hold that booklet for an agonising 2 and a half miles? Even outside Halfords there were no bins. All along Manchester Road the only bin I found was outside the college so I gleefully flung it in there.

They're forever trying to get us to throw our rubbish in the bin, and whilst most civilised people who can't find a bin hold onto their waste, the brain dead scrotes who inhabit our once awesome country, can't think beyond their own drunken needs, flinging their waste on the floor. More bins I say, MORE BINS!

You should have handed it to someone else. A nice smile and "God be with you", then scampered on your way.

He he, I knew about playing ''pass the parcel'' but you appear to have just invented ''pass the piety.''

I remember after the Warrington IRA bombs in which the tactic was to place bombs in bins, Oldham Council removed all theirs from the town center. It was many years before they were put back. Maybe Bolton is still being cautious!

When offered the religious leaflets when in town I always point out the litter bins to the hander-out.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

It'll be down to either the cost of paying someone to empty them, them being a handy bomb hidey-hole for terrorists, or perhaps you have very well behaved chavs up your way that just don't drop litter and take it all home.

Yer, as people have said they use the "anit-terror" excuse as a way to reduce the amount of bins. Yes its a valid excuse (try finding a bin in heathrow!!!) but sometimes taken too far. Major part of it is simply that they'll only put bins in high traffic areas due to the cost of having to get someone to empty the ones on outskirts.
