First off, I have found Some of my bike and the scumbag got arrested!
i found the frame for my bike on ebay last night and the seller only lived 150 yards from whre it was stolen from i found this out because he had his full name address and phone number on the bottom of the listing. He had broken the bike down and was selling the bits off (forks, wheels, bars etc) when the police interviewed him he denied selling the parts yet it is in his ebay history (again pond life) the frame, gears and tyres are with the police now and they are going to recover as much of the bike as possible. But i wont have it back until its all gone through the courts and whatnot. however the police officer is a fellow mtber and wants to prosicute the scumbag to the full extent of the law i'll be getting compensation for not having a bike and i'll be getting my back.
this is being a good weekend

Good work!
But what a total clot!!0 -
Nice one. Always good to hear of people getting their kit back, and even more for the tossbag getting done for it.0
-
Good to hear, I'd rather not prosecute at all. Take the parts back and then take the scumbag for a drive to a remote area.
Dish out a kicking so severe he'd be too nervous to go for a dump for weeks because of the pain he's feel from his healing ribs and also that he'd need someone to wipe his kleptomaniac a$$ because his broken fingers are in splints.
Sadly in the nanny state of England and our EU masters, we cannot dish out these forms of justified punishment any more..0 -
Gotta love a happy ending.
Guess the wait to get the bike/bits back will be worth it and result in the policeman being a mtbr.fly like a mouse, run like a cushion be the small bookcase!0 -

Good work:
Mr Hercule Poirot :P
Hope you get a speedy resolution.0 -
Your argument is invalid, I live close to Clacton, the last bike I had stolen was being sold by the belmer who nicked it at a boot sale 100 yds from my house. He's currently enjoying something worse than lime and string courtesy of HMP.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Congrats

Got some 4 foot poles, 6 ins nails, matches, cotton wool and tar for sale.
So...
1. Hammer the nails into the poles.
2. Pour the tar over the nails.
3. Set fire to tar.
4. Beat the thief around the head/body until tar goes out.
5. Relight the tar, then continue until tired or their screams give you an earache.
6. Place cotton wool in ears, repeat as above...0 -
what you need is one of these

Yes, daily use of an XBox 360, a PS3, not forget HD TV, Sky, good food, more rights as a prisoner than any victim and easy access to narcotics and all for for nicking a mountain bike...
Prison sure works in this country.. NOT!
Now in an African prison he'd be terrified as his parents would get a call and asked to deposit (usually a large) sum of money into an account for every month of his sentence.
If they choose not to, he will be anally raped by an HIV positive inmate, this is known as a "slow puncture" in African prisons and as barbaric as this is, it's this kind of prison life that deters people from committing crime! Not the cushioned life in HMPS0 -

you wanna stop drinking and reading the daily mail before you die of a heart attack0 -
i heard a more accurate description of a slow puncture is when they make you drink a mojito made with the zest and juice of a lime that has been up an aids riddled inmate from wormwood scrubs.

I don't drink at all and I avoid reading the British press as it's so devoid of the facts
I hail from a different era and geographical upbringing (although I am British born) where criminals, and especially thieves are severely beaten for their wrongs and the police will stand by and watch.
As savage as it may sound, rest assured you can leave a bike in your driveway and the pondlife knows that should he get caught, he will be scraping his own feaces from his legs before he limps home.0 -

it obviously works. I hear that there hasn't been a single crime committed in South Africa for at least 100 years0 -
thats very true, its good to see that a brutal prison system is devoid of inmates.0

Who said South Africa? Never, ever assume when it comes to me young man..
Sure there's crime but not petty crime like the unimportant theft of trivial items like bicycles0 -

Yeah, i feel sorry for the guy who paid £311 for them because the police will just take them back and he'll be down the forks and the cash unless paypall do some kind of insurance against stolen goods0 -
