I am going to be doing a 12 hour TT does anyone know if the battery on a Garmin Edge 705 will last the time?

They say 15 hours in the manual but obviously under the right conditions.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I've just done 6 days with the 705 running for approx 12 hours each day without any problems. No back light used. Re-charged each evening.

Thanks for the info everyone, have to say 6 days of 12 hours is impressive
  • Just to point out in case you missed it, he didn't do (6 x 12 = ) 72 hours on one charge, he did 12 hours on 6 different occasions on a fresh charge.

Also worth remembering that if you don't need the GPS navigation aspect of the 705 for the TT, then turning it off will quite likley save you even more juice in the battery. Likewise for any tones or alarms and any of teh ANT+ attachments.
